Clip Those Coupons:

People have been clipping coupons for years and the savings have gotten better and better.  I know this is something everyone knows they should do but most don't take the time to do it.  What they don't realize is the incredible savings they could be having by taking a moment to clip, clip and clip.

Most groceery stores have made coupons even more valuable by doubling the value up to 99 cents or a dollar in some states.  So that bit of info makes it worth the time to clip them out especially if it saves you money. If you don't have time to cut them out of the paper then print them off line.  A good site to get not just coupons but all kinds of Free Samples is CoolSavings  (click to sign up its free!)

I prefer the coupons from the local newpaper. Subscribe to your local paper for the weekend (Sunday only).  This again is worth it and depending on your area the cost of a subsription is no more than .75 cents. I pay .49 cents for the Washington Post which is their special so don't miss this savings. The cost in the store is usually $1.50 to 2.00 so get that subscrition.

Clipping CouponsVersus Online Printing:

While printing coupons online is convenient it has its drawbacks.  For instance online coupons do not allow for doubling where as the coupons from the newspaper can be. But don't get discouraged because those coupons online have another type of value.  Can you say Points!

Yes, that is right if you print your coupons from a points earning site and earn points each time you use them. (To learn more about earning points click here)
So now you can build points and save money all at the same time.
